I'm in love with this kick stand card layout and apparently in the birthday party mood as well since I keep making birthday cards. Came home to find my new Lizzie Anne Designs (LAD), It's a Party stamp set and just had to ink it up and this layout was perfect for it!
The card base is Rose Red and then I layered a yummy stripe paper I found at Beverly's Fabrics the other day...it's from a DCWV matstack called All Dressed Up. I then layered Rose Red and Basic Gray card stock on top of the stripe paper. On the Basic Gray card stock I doodled some dots with a white gel Pen.
The cake image is from LAD's Happy Birthday set. I stamped the image with Basic Gray classic ink on Shimmery White card stock and colored it in with SU! & Copic markers. Layered that on top of a Basic Gray Scallop Circle which I also added some doodling on. For the clip on the side I added Pretty in Pink Grosgrain Ribbon and Basic Gray Tafetta Ribbon. All that was then layered on top of Pretty in Pink and Rose Red Grosgrain Ribbon.
For the menu sentiment, I pretty much copied the same amount of layers as I have on the card base. I highlighted Birthday and added a little K & Company gem next to it. This sentiment and the flower with party in the middle are from It's a Party set. For the flower, I stamped it on Shimmery White card stock with Rose Red and colored it in with Pretty in Pink and then added some liquid pearls.
On the inside of the card I added the polka dot ribbon from May arts.
The Recipe: Stamps: Lizzie Anne Designs - Happy Birthday and It's a Party;Paper: Going Gray, Pretty in Pink, Rose Red, and Shimmery White card stock; DCWV All Dressed Up designer paper; Ink: Going Gray and Rose Red Classic Ink; Accessories: SU! & Copic Markers; White Gel Pen; 13/8" Circle Punch; Scallop Circle Punch; Ticket Corner Punch; Going Gray Tafetta Ribbon; Pretty in Pink Grosgrain Ribbon; 5/8" Rose Red Grossgrain Ribbon; Polka Dot Ribbon by May Arts; Hodgepodge Hardware; Liquid Pearls; K & Company's Adhesive Beads.
