Happy Wednesday! Really excited for today to be here because it means I can share many projects with you that had today as a deadline. I'm very sorry I haven't been able to visit some of your blogs or get back to some of you via email, but will try to catch up today. So here's what I've been up to.
July's Dirty Dozen Gallery opens today. The theme is all about fun in the sun - beach and pool inspired items. Remember the photo of my niece and nephew I shared with you earlier? Well, I made some surfboard frames for it. I also created a Nautical Inspired birthday party you won't want to miss, here's a peek.

The other project is a hybrid project using another photo I took last week at the beach, this one is of Gaven and Andy (my hubby) surfing, here it is.

The last project I'm sharing with you today is for this week's SCS Sketch Challenge (SC237). I've been meaning to ink up Taylored Expressions Beary Special set and so just had to team it up with some new yummy Paper Temptress paper, here it is - Beary Special.
I'm delighted to share with you two of my favorite papers to date - the new Cocoa Crepe Ruche and Blue Leather. I was able to capture the Ruche panel pretty well, but not so much on the leather which I used to paper piece the backpack and also used it to punch out the oval scallop. If you look at the card, it really didn't require much since the paper is just perfect on it's own.
I stamped the bear image on Neenah Classic Crest card stock and along with the Blue Leather paper I used Baronial Ivory Linen to paper piece the backpack. I finished the card with a bow and some halfback pearls.

These came out SOOO great!!! Love that smile on Tio's face. I'm sure he was brimming over w/pride at his little buddy's success!
