Happy Saturday! It's a national holiday for us here in the U.S, Independence Day, so to all those celebrating, I hope you have a fun and safe day!
I have a quick, yet elegant card that was inspired by this week's Inspiration Challenge (IC187) over at SCS. We were to pick an inspiration piece from Posters.com site and I went with this one.
This is what I came up with, Serene Artistry!
I started with a Very Vanilla card stock base measuring 6-1/2" x 3-1/4". In the middle of the card stock I stamped the image from the newly release Asian Artistry Hostess set with Mellow Moss. I colored the flowers with Bravo Burgundy and Rose Red Markers.
I added a strip of To The Nines Specialty Designer Paper to the bottom with a Kraft Taffeta bow in the middle. To the top of the card front I added a strip of Bella Bleu Designer Series Paper and three pearls form the Pretties Kit.
Well, that's it for now. I need to get ready for the festivities...eek still need to bake and decorate cupcakes! I'll be back tomorrow with a card for Hope Stamps Eternal's Cupcake Inspiration Challenge!
