Happy Monday! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I have a couple of projects to share with you as well as the kick-off of my Bow Series Video Tutorial. Many of you have emailed me and asked me to put something together and so happy I'm able to finally offer this to you...more details below.
The other thing I'm working on is Halloween cards I'll be sending out this year. This week's CAS Challenge over at SCS (CAS33) is a sketch and thought it was just perfect for a Halloween card as well as my project. First my Halloween Card, Twick or Tweet.
This little guy from Stampin' Up!'s Twick or Tweet set just cracks me up and just had to use it with this layout. Being that is a CAS card there's little to explain, so I'll just give you some highlights. The chick I stamped with Basic Black Ink and colored the pumpkin with Dusty Durango marker. I added some dashes and dots along the border with a Basic Black makers.
The strip of designer paper behind the main image is SU!'s Night & Day Specialty DSP. The ribbon treatment was quite fun - Dusty Durango Polka Dot Ribbon with a button and hemp bow int he middle.
The sentiment I stamped on Whisper White with Basic Black ink and punched out with a word window punch. I adhered it to a piece of Dusty Durango card stock which I punched out with the Modern Label Punch. Around both edges of the punched pieces I added some dashes.
Stamps: Stampin' Up!:Twick or Tweet
Paper: Night & Day Specialty DSP; Dusty Durango and Whisper White Card Stock
Ink: Basic Black Ink
Accessories: Basic Black & Dusty Durango Marker; Dusty Durango Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon; Hemp; Playground Designer Button; Modern Label Punch; Word Window Punch

The next project I put together for a friend who is looking for ideas for a baby shower with an airplane theme. I fell in love with Little Paper Shop's airplane from the Little One set and just knew it would be perfect for the project I had in mind.
Here's what the set looks like.
Here's a close up of the card.
The piece of designer paper on the card as well as the candy bar is from Cosmo Cricket's Earth Love Designer Paper Pad. I used the Eyelet Border Punch on the strips as well. The airplane image is from LIttle Paper Shop's Little One set and the sentiment is from the A Dream sentiment set. The ribbon is from Sharon Johnson' Stamp Simply Ribbon Store- it's called Blue 100% Silk Ribbon.
The airplane I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, cut it out, colored in with Copics, and then added Dazzling Diamonds to it. I adhered it to the card front with Dimensionals. Above the sentiment I added some piercing leading up to the plane.
Here's a close up of the chocolate bar.
Same designer paper and the sentiment is from the Little One set which I stamped with Brocade Blue ink and punched out with the Moder Label Punch. I added a jump ring around a mini safety pin and pined that to the ribbon in the middle.
I used the Eyelet Border Punch on each end of the designer paper to give it a nice finish on the ends.
Stamps: Little Paper Shop: Little One and A Dream
Paper: Gina K. Designs - Pure Luxury White; Cosmo Cricket Earth Love DP Pad
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Accessories: Piercing Tool & Mat; Dazzling Diamond & Light Blue Fine Cosmo Glitter; Sharon Johnson Silk Ribbon; May Arts Ribbon; Word Window Punch; Modern Label Punch; Eyelet Border Punch; Chocolate Bar; Jump Ring; Mini Safety Pin

Hi Carolina thanks for the great little tutorial. I love ribbon and you help make it look beautiful. But mostly it is so sweet that you learned this from your grandma. Thank you for sharing.
Great video!! Easy to follow and understand - your bows are beautiful. Thanks so much for doing a video of your bow-tying - I am a visual person and seeing a video of how it's done makes it so much easier for me to 'get it'. :-)
