Happy Thursday! Welcome to a spootacular post...it's Hope Stamps Eternal first Halloween Blog Hop! The other sweeties and I have been working on some halloween projects that will inspire you to get going on your halloween decorations, treats, and cards! Love how it fell on a Thursday so that I could incorporate it into my Trick-or-Treat Thursday and bring you a NEW Tutorial!
Before you go any further, I want to make sure you didn't miss a thing, so if you didn't start at Rachel's blog make sure to do so, because I promise you it will be worth your time.
Along with the hop there are also prizes and a sale! Make sure you do the following before you leave each blog:
- Leave a comment - you can be the winner of the Secret Sweet Stop which is hidden in one of the sweeties' blog - in order to be eligible all you have to do is leave a comment on each blog because you just don't know where the sweets are! The winner will be announced on Sunday night 9 pm MT.
- Prior to leaving each blog make sure to collect the hidden letter from each blog, put them together (this is why it's important you start at the beginning because if you follow them in order it will spell out the PROMO CODE for 25% off everything in stock at Hope Stamps Eternal- eek, I know...so awesome!!! This means clearance and newly arrived stuff...only exception is pre-order items. Make sure to enter the Promo Code in all caps!
Now onto my project and card! When I sat down to create the project for this hop, I wanted it to be something you could easily recreate. So I put my thinking cap on, in this case my witch hat, and brewed up this little project. I want to show you the set first and then before and after photos.
You're probably going, yeah okay, cute, but wait...can you guess what the cauldron is made out of? Nope? Give up? Here's a before and after photo.
You're seeing correctly a Glad container...go figure other people put food in it, I alter it into a Witch's CauLdron! Hee, hee. I've put a step-by-step tutorial and more information on it for you here:
I wanted to continue the cauldron theme and so used Inkadinkado's Witches Brew to put this card together.
I embossed the Witch's Brew image onto a piece of Basic Grey's Eerie Paper Pad. I then added a strip of web I punched out of black card stock using Martha Stewart's Web Edger Punch and adhered it all toward the bottom of the card front.
I then stamped the witch onto a piece of scrap white card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Inkand cut it out with the Pinking Circle Nestabilities Die. I punched out a 1" Circle and adhered it to the cut out die prior to starting the sponging process. I sponged the cut out die with Grey and Black and then removed the circle. I colored the moon in with Copics. I adhered it to the card front behind the designer paper and to finish it off tied a piece of Gingham Ribbon.
Stamps: Inkadinkado: Witches Brew
Paper: Black and White Card Stock; Basic Grey's Eerie Paper Pad
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; VersaMark
Accessories: Gingham Ribbon; Cuttlebug; Nestabilities Pinking Circle die; Black Embossing Powder; Embossing Gun; Sponges; Martha Stewart Web Edger Punch; 1" Circle Punch; Copics
Thanks so much for stopping by and now head on over to Kelli's Blog!
Hope you have a cupcakelicious day,

I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't seen it w/my own eyes! WOW!
