Happy Sunday! My apologies on this post being so late. We've switched to a new internet provider and well let's just say the transition has not been smooth - augh! So here I am a bi late with Hope Stamps Eternal's Inspiration Challenge (CIC32) along with some other goodies to share with you. So let's get started.
First here's the yummy cupcakes Rachel selected for us this week.
I was so tickled pink by these beauties that I put two projects together. The first is a card using this week's JUGS Sketch Challenge (JUGS6).
I just received the adorable Madelyn (The Greeting Farm) stamp in the mail and some other goodies from Hope Stamps Eternaland was so excited because I wanted to use her for these challenges...so glad it worked out. I paper pieced her outfit and hat as well as used Copics to color the rest of her. I cut her out and set her aside to work on the rest of the card.
I ran the top portion of the card through Marvy's Diamond Paper Crimper. Punched out five flowers out of red card stock with the Trio Flower Punch and added some pearls in the middle of each and then adhered them to the card front.
The strip across the lower half of the card front is just black card stock with white card stock layered on top and a bit of Sharon's 100% Silk ribbon which I tied into a knot. Finished the card off by adding Madelyn with a scallop circle treatment behind her head and it's all done.
Stamps: The Greeting Farm: Madelyn
Paper: Gina K. Designs - Pure Luxury Black and White card stock
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Accessories: 100% Silk Ribbon (Stamp Simply Ribbon Store); ZVA Creative Halfback Pearls; Copics; Marvy's Diamond Paper Crimper; Trio Flower Punch; Circle and Scallop Circle Punches

The next project I put together for the cupcake challenge was another Beanie Hat Gift Card Holder. You can find step-by-step instructions HERE and a chance at some BLOG Candy as well as a video tutorial at the bottom of this post. This is the new version I came up with today using this week's inspiration.
Here's a photo of it closed.
Here's a photo of it opened showing the gift card.
I added texture in several ways. The swivel piece of the beanie I ran through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots Embossing folder. The flowers I actually cut from a piece of Bella Blvds. Sugar Plumsdesigner paper, I layered them on top of each other and added a pearl in the middle. To finish it off I added a pearl flourish embellishment from ZVA Creative.
Paper: Gina K. Designs - Pure Luxury Black and White card stock; Bella Blvd. December Details Paper Pad (Sugar Plums)
Accessories: ZVA Creative Halfback Pearls and Pearl Flourishes; Cuttlebug; Swiss Dots Embossing Folder; Eyelet; Brad; Crop-a-Dile; Circle Scissors Plus; Scallop Edge Punch; Imaginisce Itop Punch; Double-sided tape

One more hat I put together using some new paper I just received, Basic Grey's Nook & Pantry, along with Gina K. Designs Holiday Greetings Set.
Here's a photo of it closed.
A photo of it opened.
I wanted to make a beanie gift card holder that incorporate a sentiment and I just love how the sentiment has a little coffee cup in the middle. In case you can't read the sentiment around it, it reads, "Friendship warms the heart"...isn't it just too perfect for a coffee gift card holder? Yummo!
Stamps: Gina K. Designs- Holiday Greetings stamp set (showtime stamp kit)
Paper: Gina K. Designs - Pure Luxury Black and White card stock; Basic Grey's Nook and Pantry Paper Pad
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and Brick Red Hybrid Ink
Accessories: ZVA Creative Halfback Pearls; Eyelet; Brad; Crop-a-Dile; Circle Scissors Plus; Scallop Edge Punch; Imaginisce Itop Punch; Double-sided tape; Circle Punches; Black Pen
