Happy very late Saturday! Today's Seasonal Saturday is one that is easily adaptable to many holidays, so don't be too surprised if you see an updated version come Valentines. This time around I decided to keep it a bit retro, or at least what I think of retro...I say this because when I finished putting it together, it reminded of me hats from the 1920's.
Here's a photo of the project.
The holder is the top of one of my Yoplait Yogurt with Granola containers. Every since I opened the first one I was drawn to the shape and knew that eventually I'd be able to re-purpose it into something else. I've been saving them for a while and this is what I ended up doing with it.
I put video tutorial to walk you through how I put it together and if you'd like to follow along, here's what you'll need:
- A 12" x 3" piece of card stock
- Ribbon for the base (5/8")
- Thinner ribbon for the rim (1/4")
- Pearls
- Bone Folder
- Double-sided Tape (1/8" and 1/4")
- Yoplait Granola Container
- Treats (I used Hershey Kisses)

You can access the step-by-step video tutorial below or over at YouTube. I upload my videos in HD so feel free to change it to that view.
