Happy Thursday and welcome you to day 2 of inspiration hops for Gina K. Designs January Release! We're continuing these series of hops with an additional two sets - Whimsical Spring and Girl Talk.
Make sure to leave a comment on each blog while you are blog hopping today because we will choose two random winners from all of the comments who will each win a grab bag full of deeply etched, precut Gina K. Designs stamps! Each blog you comment on will count as an entry so you will have lots of chances if you comment on all of the blogs!
First up, is a card I made with Whimsical Spring designed by Theresa Momber.
I love how Theresa drew this darling butterflies and wanted to make them the focus of my card and here's how I put it together.
- Create a top-folding standard size card (4-1/4" x 5-1/2") out of white card stock.
- Across the top stamp two rows of butterflies (five orange and one pink).
- On a scrap piece of paper stamp one of the butterflies in pink, cut it out, bend the wings and adhere it to the stamped pink butterfly. Add some pearls on the body.
- Across the middle of the card front, add a strip of ribbon and two strips hanging down the middle.
- On a scrap piece of paper stamp the small flower from the set with black ink and color it in with a pink marker. Cut it out and adhere to the middle of the strip of ribbon. Finish the flower off with a pearl in the middle.
- Stamp the sentiment in the lower right corner with green ink and with that, you are done!

Next up is a card with Girl Talk by Tami Mayberry.
Here's how I put it together:
- Create a top-folding standard size card (4-1/4" x 5-1/2") out of Ocean Mist card stock.
- Use the corner rounder punch on the bottom corners and set it aside.
- Cut a 3-1/2" x 4-1/4" piece of patterned paper, round all the corners, tie a piece of ribbon around it and adhere to the card front. Add a bow with a button in the middle towards the top left corner. Finish it off with a pearl in the middle of the button. Set it aside.
- On a piece of white card stock, stamp the gal image and the sentiment. Also stamp the gal image on a piece of patterned paper and paper piece her shirt onto the white card stock image. Color her with Copics, add some rhinestones to the flower in her hair and her necklace. Cut it out.
- Cut a 2-1/2" x 3-1/8" piece of Ocean Mist card stock, mat the gal image on top of it, it to the card front, and with that, you are done!
