Happy Saturday! Hope you enjoyed the Gina K. Designs Inspiration hops and if you haven't had a chance to do so, make sure you blog hop. Not only will you be beyond inspired, but also may be eligible to win some wonderful stamps. I'm going switch gears a bit and share with you another Valentine's themed idea that can easily be altered to fit any theme.
This is what the gift bag looks like.
What I love about being able to stamp my own tissue paper is that I can customize to fit the occassion. This bag is for my nephew who has always referred to Valentine's Day as "Happy Heart Day" - yep singular, not plural. Tried to explain it to me, but he didn't like it, and so this is what him and I stick too. Still need to fill it up with his favorite goodies, but now that he can read, I'm sure he'll get a kick out of it.
You can easily turn the bag into a birthday bag, by changing the sentiment to Happy Birthday and adding a balloon or present shape holder instead of a heart. Another idea is for a baby shower you can always stamp word baby everywhere and even use the heart and perhaps change the number to the baby's name instead. Countless of different themes you can go with this one.
Here's what you'll need to get started to make a Valentine themed bag of your own:
- Happy Hearts stamp set
- Memento Lady Bug Red and Tuxedo Black Ink
- Bag (Container Store
- Tissue Paper
- Spellbinders: Hearts & Scalloped Hearts Die
- Felt
- Card Stock
- Patterned Paper
- Rhinestone sentiment (ZVA Creative)
- Trim (Maya Roads)
- Flower (Maya Roads)
- Double-sided tape
