Seasonal Saturday: You're So Awesome Treat Holder and Video Tutorial

Happy Sunday! I spent pretty much the whole day in my studio yesterday and happy with how much I was able to accomplish. I even managed to put together two videos...one of which I'll be sharing today. Gina K. releases a new StampTV kit every other month and in the newest one, True Love StampTV Kit is one that you won't want to miss out on. I thought today I would show you how to put together a treat holder using one of the images from this set. Here's what it looks like.

Here's what you'll need to get started:

• True Love StampTV set
• Pure Luxury White card stock
• Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
• Pearl or Rhinestone
• Ribbon
• Flower (a leaf is optional)
• Double-sided tape

1. 2-3/4" x 8-1/2" piece of Felt
2. 12" of Ribbon
3. 8" of Twine
4. Embossing Floss & Needle
5. A spool
6. Brad

Seasonal Saturday: Wrapped Kisses & Video Tutorial

Happy very late Saturday! Today's Seasonal Saturday is one that is easily adaptable to many holidays, so don't be too surprised if you see an updated version come Valentines. This time around I decided to keep it a bit retro, or at least what I think of retro...I say this because when I finished putting it together, it reminded of me hats from the 1920's. 

Here's a photo of the project.

The holder is the top of one of my Yoplait Yogurt with Granola containers. Every since I opened the first one I was drawn to the shape and knew that eventually I'd be able to re-purpose it into something else. I've been saving them for a while and this is what I ended up doing with it. 

I put video tutorial to walk you through how I put it together and if you'd like to follow along, here's what you'll need:

1. A 12" x 3" piece of card stock
2. Ribbon for the base (5/8")
3. Thinner ribbon for the rim (1/4")
4. Pearls
5. Bone Folder
6. Double-sided Tape (1/8" and 1/4")
7. Yoplait Granola Container
8. Treats (I used Hershey Kisses)

Seasonal Saturday: Advent Calendar & Video Tutorial

Happy Monday and hope you all had a nice weekend! I had every intention of posting my Seasonal Saturday project on Saturday, but then thought of another project that I wanted to share with you in the same video...it didn't happen. The project just didn't come together so instead of sitting on the one I filmed, I thought I would push it through and share it with you now and post the other next Saturday when I have it all figured out.

Today I have an Advent Calendar idea to share with you.

I put a video tutorial to walk you through it. If you'd like to follow along, here's what you'll need to get started.

1. A 12" x 12" Shadowbox Frame (typically found in the framing or scrapbook area)
2. A 12" x 12" piece of cork board
3. A 12" x 12" piece of card stock (I used red, but feel free to use whatever color you'd like)
4. 25 pieces of fabric measuring 1" x 4"
5. 25 brads
6. 25 pieces of candy (I used Hershey Kisses)
7. Ribbon for the trunk
8. Tinsel
9. 1/4" Circle Punch
10. Double-sided tape
11. Liquid Adhesive
12. Paper Piercer
13. Numbers (I put together a pdf of the format I used, you can find it  HERE)
